Summary

Lead Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote merchandise through the execution of customer service standards. The Lead Associate reinforces the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Supervisors in ensuring the store meets its goals and standards in financial performance, customer satisfaction, and visual appearance.

• Consistently provide customer service to company standards and lead the team.
• Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with customer service standards.
• Build a repeat customer base through the PE Loyalty Program data capture.
• Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively to customers.
• Foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and staff members fairly and consistently.
• Effectively manage floor coverage; acknowledge every customer; prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication.
• Manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Step in when the supervisor/keyholder is not present.
• Keep merchandise filled to appropriate levels on the sales floor.
• Ensure the store appearance is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
• Minimize shortages through proper loss‑prevention procedures.
• Practice excellent customer service at all times to prevent possible theft.
• Demonstrate awareness of store sales plans and results.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.

• Energetic and positive attitude.
• 1–2 years of retail experience.
• Flexible availability and reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer‑service skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, and personable with a positive attitude.
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.
• High‑school degree.
