This position is located in Estevan, SK and will serve our Saskatchewan & Manitoba markets
Are you a relationship driven sales professional who enjoys solving customer problems, and builds trust through technical credibility and follow through? Primec is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow and strengthen our presence across Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
This role will place an increased emphasis on new customer acquisition, with approximately 50% of the position focused on developing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding Primecs market presence by building strong relationships with prospective customers across the territory, supported by in-person visits throughout Saskatchewan & Manitoba.
This position is central to maintaining and expanding Primecs market share through strong customer relationships, thoughtful solution selling, and proactive identification of opportunities that improve customer safety, reliability, and economics. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced business development or technical sales leader with deep knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and oil & gas operations.
What You Bring
Technical background or experience in instrumentation, electrical, measurement, or combustion is an asset.
Proven ability to connect and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including field personnel, engineers, procurement teams, and leadership.
Having excellent communication skills you bring strong situational awareness and adaptability to build trust and move conversations toward clear next steps.
Solid knowledge of the oil and gas industry, particularly production, facilities, measurement, and maintenance environments.
Minimum 5 years of experience providing services or solutions to oil and gas companies (operations, service, or technical sales).
Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
