Job Description

Wealth Platform Journey owns innovating, delivering and maintaining pan-Wealth technological capabilities that enable TD Wealth strategic priorities. The Client Servicing Product Group owns the end‑to‑end shared client servicing functions across Direct Investing and Advice which includes client onboarding, account maintenance, money movement, and workflow & digitization. This team works closely with other Journeys, control partners and Business Architecture to ensure that Wealth achieves the strategic commitments of Deepening Relationships, Fast & Simple and Disciplined Execution.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Client Servicing Product Group, the successful candidate will support the Wealth Client Servicing Product Group Owner and Product Owners to push complex initiatives through to successful execution, specifically ideation, requirements, BOT testing, defect triage and change management activities within both the API and Orders pods in the Trading Product Group.

Role (Business Analysis Specialist)

Primary responsibilities:

  • Support innovation and ideation by applying subject matter expertise to generate forward‑thinking ideas and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply analytical skills to understand business problems, impacted stakeholders and proposed solutions to align with TD's risk appetite.
  • Lead end‑to‑end business requirements management for key Features, collaborating with stakeholders and focusing on the customer.
  • Leverage specialized domain, product, and systems knowledge to provide business/product subject matter expertise and drive focus toward business value.
  • Identify, document, and validate current state processes and support stakeholders to design desired future state; provide recommendations based on the end‑to‑end customer experience.
  • Lead the creation of key journey artifacts (PIA/DIA/CRA) for specific Features.
  • Proactively identify and manage requirement risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints.
  • Contribute to Change Management deliverables (stakeholder analysis, BOT testing, gap analysis, change planning, etc.) to ensure readiness of customers, colleagues, and cross‑functional stakeholder groups.
  • Support implementation and post‑implementation planning activities.
  • Support the product owner in maintaining strategic capability roadmaps, business case models and post‑implementation reviews.
  • Support the scrum master and release train engineers in maintaining JIRA hygiene, reporting on delivery velocity and optimizing delivery processes.
  • Own autonomy as the lead business analyst and mentor others, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Key Accountabilities / Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis (BA accreditation is an asset).
  • Proven experience delivering requirements for large, complex, multi‑stakeholder programs/projects.
  • Prior experience in Agile requirements delivery is an asset.
  • Experience in Wealth products and systems is a strong asset.
  • Experience working in or with Journeys is an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the Journey life‑cycle.
  • Strong proactivity and ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Strong leadership with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with all levels and external vendors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills, adapting style to a diverse audience.
