Overview

Green Tech Resources Worldwide Canada is hiring for a full-time Financial Advisor role to provide tailored financial advice and develop strategies to help clients meet short- and long-term objectives. Build and maintain client relationships while monitoring portfolios and market conditions.

• Meet with clients to assess financial needs, objectives, risk tolerance, and current financial situation.
• Develop personalized financial plans and investment strategies based on client goals and market analysis.
• Recommend financial products and services, such as investment vehicles, retirement plans, insurance, and tax-efficient strategies.
• Monitor client portfolios, review performance, and adjust recommendations in response to market changes or life events.
• Prepare and maintain accurate client records, documentation, and compliance-related files.
• Stay informed of economic trends, regulatory changes, and new financial products to provide up-to-date advice.

• Post-secondary education in finance, business, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial services, investment advising, or a related client-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and market principles.
• Proficiency with financial planning and portfolio management software and standard office applications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
• Willingness to complete industry-required registrations or certifications and to undergo background checks as applicable.
