Turnbull Excavating is locally owned and operated and has been in business for over 40 years.

We are recruiting a Sewer & Water/Concrete Labourer.

• Underground Utility Work – Assist with installation and repair of sewer and water mains, services, and storm systems.
• Trenching & Excavation Support – Work with equipment operators to dig, shore, and prepare trenches safely.
• Pipe Laying Assistance – Grade, align, and place pipe; handle fittings, bedding, and compaction.
• Concrete Labour – Set forms, place rebar, pour concrete, and assist finishers as needed.
• Site Cleanup & Material Handling – Move materials, operate small tools, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Safety Practices – Follow all safety procedures, including trench safety, PPE use, and traffic control.

• Experience in sewer & water or concrete work is an asset.
• Ability to lift 5080 lbs., work in trenches, and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with hand tools, compaction equipment, and concrete tools.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license; safety tickets (First Aid, Ground Disturbance, Confined Space) are an advantage.
