• Place and finish concrete in flatwork or curb projects
• Ensure quality of finished work
• Set forms for grade and design
• Operate small power tools
• Prepare base for final grade and compaction
• Assist in demolition of existing concrete
• Check work
• Knowledge in using hand and power finishing tools
• Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before beginning each task
• Be involved in daily safety meetings
• Possibly operate small equipment (skid steer, mini excavator)
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  
  Prior experience in concrete placement would be an asset
• Tools/Equipment:
  Prior experience with power tools would be an asset;
  Prior experience with mobile equipment would be an asset
• Safety:
  Safety oriented
• Physical:
  Able to lift 50 lbs
• Work Environment:
  Able to work in a fast-paced, high production environment
• Availability:
  Willing to work overtime when needed including Saturdays
• Independence:
  Able to work unsupervised
• Teamwork:
  Able to work well with others
• Communication:
  Good communication skills;
  Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved PPE
