Sr. Manager, Strategic Planning ADP is hiring a Sr. Manager, Strategic Planning. The role partners closely with leaders across ADP Canada to define, communicate, and execute our business strategy. It involves researching, developing annual plans, handling ad‑hoc projects, and presenting insights that support executive decision‑making.
What you’ll do Be the trusted strategy advisor for business segments at ADP Canada.
Run assigned initiatives or projects, including problem‑solving, building business plans and stakeholder conversations.
Manage strategy processes, program‑managing standard strategy cycle events such as the annual strategy planning cycle and board meetings.
Partner with peers in matrixed teams and other locations to develop strategies for Canadian business units.
Prepare for partner meetings, executive presentations, and stakeholder conversations.
Develop a point of view on key strategy topics, emerging trends and focus areas through internal and external research.
Explore new business opportunities and incubate ideas across all business areas aligned with business strategies.
Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations that articulate strategic options and support executive decision‑making.
To succeed in this role 10+ years of experience in strategy or related roles.
5+ years of strategy experience in management consulting or an in‑house strategy team, preferably at a top‑tier consulting firm or technology company.
MBA or master’s degree.
Proven experience building business cases and financial modeling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience presenting to senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels, including C‑Suite.
Strong content creation and business storytelling skills using PowerPoint.
Expertise in conducting competitive and customer research, including stakeholder interviews and secondary research.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong experience collaborating with multiple functions/organizations.
Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
Prior experience with sales strategy, business development, or SaaS/go‑to‑market strategies (preferred).
Experience with data visualization (e.g., BI, Tableau) and translating data into actionable insights.
Benefits and Compensation Base salary for this position may vary based on location, skills and experience. Compensation ranges from CAD to CAD per year, plus potential bonus, equity or commissions.
