Case Manager for IT Careers

Support internationally trained IT professionals as a Case Manager at the Etobicoke YMCA. Enhance employment opportunities and foster employer partnerships through targeted outreach and innovative solutions.

This full-time role focuses on creating sustainable job placements within the IT sector for clients in the Bridge to IT Careers program. You'll develop individualized employment plans, monitor client progress, and actively engage employers through various outreach strategies. Your marketing skills and understanding of IT workforce trends will be essential for client success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized strategies for client employment goals

• Engage employers via outreach and networking efforts

• Facilitate job fairs, connecting clients with employers

• Track client progress and maintain accurate files

• Act as a liaison between clients and businesses for smooth placements

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing

• At least two years in counseling or job coaching

• Motor vehicle access for regional travel

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Understanding of diversity, inclusion, and equity issues
