Account Development Representative, General Medicine Etobicoke to Newmarket
What you will do In this vital role you will be calling on key specialists and accounts, as well as allied health professionals, for Repatha, Evenity and Aranesp. You will develop business and expand the clinical use of applicable Amgen product(s) in the territory.
Contact physicians (specialists and family practice) and other healthcare professionals (nurses, pharmacists) to develop business and expand the clinical use of applicable Amgen product(s) in the territory.
Achievement of monthly sales objectives and maximum market share vs. competitive product(s).
Write and implement territory business plans, create and develop innovative programs, and build competitive advantage for Amgen within key accounts.
Respond to customer needs and maintain a high quality of service via knowledge of applicable therapeutic areas, appropriate management of patients, resolving/triage reimbursement issues, and supporting fulfillment.
Work closely with internal partners (MSL, Marketing Patient Access Navigator, Key Accounts).
Carry out marketing strategies, including delivering branded sales messages.
Handle any logistics pertaining to Amgen sponsored rounds; implement in‑services and continuing health education initiatives (National/Regional Speaker Tours).
Required administration including territory analysis and call reporting in Amgen system(s).
Provide feedback on marketing strategies and effectiveness in the field.
Adhere to Amgen pharmacovigilance policies for reporting adverse events (AE) and product complaints (PC).
What we expect of you Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree.
Based in sales region (Toronto North).
Preferred Qualifications Sales experience in the Cardiology/Dyslipidemia/Cardiometabolic market.
Experience in both specialty and primary care selling environments.
Familiarity with customers in the territory.
Competitive selling skills and track record.
Excellent communication skills.
Negotiation skills.
Strong decision making/problem solving skills.
Leadership skills.
