Location Etobicoke, ON, Canada Schedule Day shift Type Parts & Service Center
- The Trailer Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing trailers
- Setup and repair of all types of air systems
- Assemble and repair of all types and makes of suspensions and axles
- General mechanical repairs such as brakes, pintle-hook assemblies
- Structural repair and replacement of floors, walls, doors or roofs
- Installation and repair of all types of electrical & hydraulic systems
- Any other task related to the position may also be assigned
- Aftermarket installing of lift gates
- Licensed 310J, combined with (5) years of work experience,
- Training as a mechanic OR more than three years' work experience in the mechanic's field (mechanic license considered an asset)
- Ability to understand and apply the principles and techniques of trailer component assembly and to follow instructions
- Good spatial reasoning skills
- Ability to work alone and collaborate as a team
- Ability to read drawings
- Welding experience
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- According to experience of; 31.56 to 40.99$/hour
