Job Title
This position is responsible for developing work holding fixtures, CNC programs, and tool layouts to support the implementation of new equipment in a factory setting. The role focuses on converting products from manual operations to CNC automation using Okuma horizontal milling machines.
Responsibilities- Lead the ramp-up of new CNC equipment by creating programs and work holding fixtures.
- Identify and order new tooling for the creation or improvement of programs as required.
- Design new jigs, tools, and fixtures, providing technical direction to production personnel.
- Supervise the validation of new program rollouts and effectively communicate the process with engineers, quality, and production personnel.
- Collaborate daily with manufacturing engineers to address machining and operational challenges.
- Highlight quality issues related to product conversion to CNC-based machining and provide technical direction for corrective actions and error-proofing.
- Train CNC machine operators on new machining technologies as needed.
- 5 years of experience writing programs for CNC machining centers and developing work holding fixtures.
- 4 years of experience in supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming, Mastercam, G & M Code, and CAD/CAM.
- Experience using Solid Works, Mastercam, and AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated experience in CNC programming for multi-axis Mazak milling machines using Mastercam.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software with preference for CATIA V5.
- 7 years of experience writing programs for CNC machining centers and developing work holding fixtures.
- 5 years of experience in supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Experience programming Okuma horizontal machining centers.

This is a contract position based out of Euclid, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
