Consolidated Precision Products is seeking an Aerospace Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and support manufacturing processes for complex aerospace castings and precision-machined components. In this on-site role, you will partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve safety, yield, and throughput while maintaining strict aerospace standards. Responsibilities include process design and validation, troubleshooting shop-floor issues, driving continuous improvement projects, documenting work instructions, and supporting new product introductions in a highly technical, quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace castings and precision-machined components.
  • Lead process validation, capability studies, and documentation for new and existing products.
  • Troubleshoot production issues on the shop floor and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, yield, and throughput.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and design engineering to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze production data using SPC and other tools to reduce variation and defects.
  • Support new product introductions and transfers across plants or production lines.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, internal specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to operators and technicians on processes and best practices.
