Overview

Job Description - Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is seeking a Network Scheduler. The position is on-site at the Euclid, OH facility. The Euclid facility has approximately 320 employees and designs, develops, manufactures and delivers Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to global aftermarket and OEM markets.

The Supply Chain Network Scheduler focuses on the 0-3 months execution horizon, owning short-term product availability and exception management for finished goods and semi-finished goods for their value stream across markets with supply-demand imbalances. This role is the primary face of supply for the value stream, owning capacity and material constraint escalations by leveraging scenario planning and ensuring collaboration between demand and supply stakeholders.

This role reports to the Network Planner.

Salary - The expected annual salary range is $97,000 - $143,000, and this position is eligible for a variable incentive program. Salary information is a guideline and may vary based on candidate skills, experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Develop timely and accurate plans for finished products at the assigned level of the supply network and for short-term finished goods availability in the 0 to 12 weeks horizon for the portfolio.
  • Manage all exceptions in the short-term horizon and collaborate with Eaton network teams and external vendors to identify root causes and drive corrective and preventative actions.
  • Create the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Coordinate a team of CoE resources (buyers, planners, production schedulers) to deliver the MPS Plan.
  • Interface with operations to drive schedule adherence.
  • Report and analyze key performance indicators to drive supply network improvements in cash, cost and customer service results.
  • Ensure a feasible plan to minimize demand at risk and maximize customer service level while staying within inventory and cost targets; create and analyze different scenarios against a defined scorecard.
  • Collaborate effectively with multiple functions to improve end-to-end supply chain and serve customers efficiently.
  • Manage all 0-12 week horizon exceptions where there is an imbalance in demand and supply; conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
  • Ensure capacity shortages are addressed or escalated.
  • Evaluate and share the impact of material exceptions on the short-term finished goods plan with material planners.
  • Monitor customer on-time service level and inventory exceptions in the short term.
  • Participate in decision making and movement of slow-moving inventory within the value stream.
  • Monitor planning parameter accuracy by conducting periodic audits and updating ERP as needed.
  • Act as primary point of contact for product availability in the value stream.
  • Stay close to demand information to react quickly to changes.
  • Own escalations and bring them to conclusion in cooperation with material planners, buyers and production schedulers.
Minimum Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five (5) years combined professional experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years experience in supply chain management.
  • CPIM certification.

  • Deep functional understanding of supply chain processes: procurement, SIOP, Materials Management, demand planning and forecasting, end-to-end planning, master production scheduling, capacity analysis, inventory management.
  • Working understanding of MRP.
