Consolidated Precision Products is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead daily shipping operations in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role oversees a small team, ensures accurate and on-time shipment of complex castings, and maintains compliance with customer, export, and quality requirements. The Supervisor coordinates carriers, optimizes freight, and works closely with production, quality, and inventory teams. Success requires strong attention to detail, safety focus, ERP experience, and a continuous improvement mindset within a highly technical, precision-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure accurate, on-time shipment of products
- Lead, schedule, and develop shipping team members with focus on safety and quality
- Coordinate carriers and freight to optimize cost, delivery, and service levels
- Verify export, customer, and regulatory documentation for compliance
- Collaborate with production, quality, and inventory to meet delivery commitments
- Use ERP/WMS systems to manage orders, inventory, and shipment status
- Monitor KPIs and produce shipping performance and accuracy reports
- Implement and support continuous improvement and 5
- S initiatives in shipping area
- Ensure adherence to aerospace quality standards and company procedures
- Maintain a safe, well-organized shipping dock and storage areas
