Maintenance Facilities Manager

Description

• Manage telecommunications, heat, electricity, plumbing etc. and refurbishments and ensure they are well maintained;
• Ensure facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards;
• Oversee building projects, renovations or refurbishments;
• Responsible for handling facility emergencies as they arise;
• Manage the maintenance of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards;
• Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations;
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs;
• Supervise all facilities staff and external contractors performing equipment & facilities maintenance;
• Control activities such as parking, waste disposal, building security etc.;
• Handle service contracts including company leased and owned vehicles;
• Keep financial and non-financial records.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance facility management;
• Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Organization, time management, prioritizing, and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload;
