Assembly Technician- Overhaul & Repair 2nd Shift

Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking an Assembly Technician – Overhaul & Repair 2nd Shift. This role will sit within Eaton's Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) group at our Euclid, OH manufacturing plant.

The Euclid facility has approximately 330 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture, and delivery of aerospace fuel pumping components, systems, and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. The MRO Technician is responsible for the repair and overhaul of main engine fuel pumps, boost pumps, and other commercial pumping devices.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $47,000 – $69,000 a year. This position is also eligible for overtime earnings and a variable incentive program.

• Disassemble, inspect, disposition and reassemble customer field returns of high‑volume units in accordance with component overhaul manuals and/or other approved technical documents. Perform all tasks to FAA, EASA and CAAC approved procedures.
• Prepare a concise and accurate documentation package for every repaired or overhauled unit.
• Develop a clear understanding of all FAA, EASA, and CAAC approved procedures and maintain current knowledge of all requirements.
• Effectively communicate with coworkers to ensure the efficient processing of repairs through the MRO facility and with internal departments such as quality, customer service, stock room, etc., and external customers and auditors as required.
• Ensure that your required training/re‑training requirements are achieved and properly documented for FAA record keeping. Participate in departmental continuous improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor, which could include receiving/shipping, final test, pump testing and non‑destructive testing.

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution plus two (2) years of experience in mechanical assembly and/or maintenance of mechanical devices such as pumps or motors; OR, in lieu of an HS diploma/GED, completion of an accredited trade school or trade certificate program plus ten (10) years of experience in mechanical assembly, machining, and/or maintenance of mechanical devices such as pumps or motors.
• This position requires access to export‑controlled information. • Experience in an aerospace environment.
• Associate’s degree.
• Understands CMM’s, S/B’s, engineering drawings and repair sketches.
• Three years’ experience in aircraft/engine accessory maintenance.
• MFG‑Pro or other ERP experience.
• Experience with multiple pump models – efficient and achieving high metrics.
• Knowledge of administrative tasks such as contract review, RTS, etc.
• Customer service and UI experience.

• Participate in CI events and help problem solve issues.
• Effective trainer – ability to cross‑train in administrative and direct repair and overhaul tasks.
• Problem‑solving skills.
