Production Manager

As the Production Manager
, you will oversee production and warehouse operations within the facility. You will be responsible for meeting all business metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost along with employee engagement and culture.

You will be located at PPG's Euclid, OH plant, and will report to the Plant Manager.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive continuous improvement in all areas of the business and contribute to the objectives of the facility.
• Manage multiple operational activities (preassembly, mixing, extrusion, warehouse receiving and shipping) including planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/throughput targets, product loss targets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with process engineering, maintenance, supply chain, EHS, technical department, and other functions required to meet business objectives (develop production schedules, capital improvement projects, preventative maintenance, IATF audits).

• Bachelor's degree required; engineering (chemical) preferred.
• 5+ years minimum experience managing individuals.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean preferred).
• Experience with EHS and building a strong safety culture.
• Good track record managing individuals, people-focused leadership development.
• Hands‑on leadership style required, willing to get involved to help problem‑solve, troubleshoot, and build rapport with the team.
