? General Labor - Scrap Yard (Contract-to-Hire)

? Cleveland, OH | ? $18/hr | ? 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F)

Now hiring motivated General Laborers for a busy, well-established scrap metal company! THIS IS OUTDOORS!

Join a company with over 38 years in business that purchases and processes industrial and demolition scrap metal. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and grow into a long-term career.

If you have direct metal recycling and sorting experience, we will consider a higher pay rate!

? What You'll Do:

• Remove plastic film and stack metal products onto pallets
• Disassemble incoming materials for scrap recovery
• Sort metals by grade (good vs. scrap)
• Operate a Bobcat Skid Steerer and Sit down tow motor to move materials
• Perform general yard cleanup and assist in the mill area
• Use basic hand and power tools

? Requirements:

• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Steel toe boots & safety glasses required
• Must be reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Able to stand for long periods and work overtime when needed
• Not afraid to get dirty - this is hands-on work
