Overview
Maintenance Technician - Euclid, Ohio
Pay Rate:
Starting at $30 - Depending on Experience
Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 4x10s. Overtime as needed.
As a Maintenance Tech at the Euclid plant, you will be a crucial part of our Electrical and Maintenance team, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need it. You will report to a Senior Maintenance Manager. Your work will directly affect people s lives.
General Duties- Repair, modify and install equipment to maintain and operate the facility.
- Understand basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams; familiar with 12 VDC to 480 VAC wiring or circuits; capable of diagnosing 24/115 VAC control circuitry.
- Work in confined spaces, on elevated platforms, ladders, scaffolding and roofs.
- Perform all tasks associated with troubleshooting equipment.
- CMMS experience.
- Perform all tasks associated with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Accurately maintains records and reports as required.
- This position requires a strong electrical/mechanical aptitude.
- Prior experience in manufacturing and plant maintenance is required.
- Prior experience as a maintenance mechanic or qualified journeyman in an industrial manufacturing or similar work setting is required for consideration.
- Thorough knowledge of industrial production and utility equipment operation is preferred.
- The successful candidate will be required to perform in a multi-craft environment.
- At least five years of applicable industrial mechanical, pumps, compressors, HVAC, and related equipment experience.
- Secondary skill in PLC and welding is desired.
- Have good attendance and safety records.
- Be able to work well in a team; read and follow Work Order instructions;
- Troubleshoot and repair plant production and utility equipment (VFDs, motors, pumps, etc.).
- Read and understand prints, CAD drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Possess computer skills and forklift operation certification or ability to operate one.
- Be able to work in environments requiring respiratory protection and in elevated or confined spaces.
- Be flexible with overtime and extended/weekend schedules when needed.
- Possess and maintain a valid Ohio driver s license.
- Function in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Be self-motivated and able to work without close supervision.
- On-call availability for emergencies.
- Perform all tasks related to troubleshooting and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
