• Performs a variety of regularly assigned departmental duties and works under limited supervision.
• Under the direction of the Group Leader, adjusts schedule and work hours to accomplish the desired result; ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Receives and unloads steel trucks and may require engagement with limited rigging applications.
• Organizes and lines up parts for skilled trades employees to complete jobs efficiently.
• Packages and ships complete jobs and may perform limited welding, machining, and mechanical assembly.
• Performs miscellaneous manual labor activities (e.g., cleaning floors and work areas, handling materials, minor repairs, and snow removal).
• Maintains neat and orderly records of work performed and assists with related documentation.
• Performs related duties assigned by the department Operations Manager and adheres to safety and quality standards.
• Follows Company specifications, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to job performance.

• Understands the company's quality policy and how it relates to the job and customer needs.
• Adheres to quality procedures and complies with stated specifications and standards.
• Understands and follows Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and plant rules and regulations.
• Operates within safe practices and uses guards on equipment; reports hazards or unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Accesses and references Company specifications, work instructions, Plant Rules and Regulations, JHA, and SDS as needed.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Average mechanical aptitude with good organizational and communication skills.
• Team oriented, self-motivated, safety- and quality-conscious; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
• May be required to operate basic shop equipment (hoist, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).
• Must be able to work in confined areas, climb ladders, and work at heights up to 50 feet.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Must be willing to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge and be able to understand and interpret specifications and procedures related to this job.
