MAINTENANCE LEAD – Euclid, Ohio
Pay Rate:
Starting at $32 - Depending on Experience
Shift: Monday - Thursday 6AM-4:30PM 4x10s
Overtime as needed
We have an immediate opening on the Euclid facility Maintenance Team. This is a full‑time position.
Key Responsibilities- Monthly CMMS management & KPI reporting
- Flexibility to work overtime and over the weekends and with site emergencies
- Support site CAPEX projects with maintenance workforce
- Place orders for repair or spare parts and equipment for replacement and ensure proper documentation
- Provide a safe, healthy and productive work environment for all employees through accurate and timely maintenance
- Ensure all work follows established EHS (CSE, LOTO, Hot Work, NFPA
70E, HOP/PTB) etc. - Establish shift schedules, prioritize jobs, procure material and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure work continuity and balance; schedules coordinated with the plant to minimize downtime, maximize production, and maximize maintenance compliance and productivity
- Recommend improvements in equipment and production methods consistent with cost and quality objectives
- Communicate daily with production and engineering leadership in support of the PM programs and emergency work
- Manage the core maintenance team on all shifts daily
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure processing of all Maintenance department purchases
- Repair, modify and install equipment to maintain and operate the facility
- Understand basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams and be familiar with 12 VDC to 480 VAC electrical wiring or circuits; diagnose 24/115 VAC control circuitry
- Manage tasks associated with troubleshooting equipment, breakdown repairs, installation or replacement
- Accurately maintain records and reports as required
- Assist in maintenance repair as needed
This position requires a strong EHS, electrical/mechanical background and personnel management experience. Prior experience in manufacturing and plant maintenance is required. Prior experience as a maintenance lead in an industrial manufacturing or similar setting is required for consideration. Thorough knowledge of industrial production and utility equipment operation is preferred.
Qualifications- Lead and follow Work Order instructions
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair various plant production and utility equipment (VFd’s, motors, pumps, etc.)
- Read and understand prints and CAD drawings
- Read and understand equipment technical manuals
- Possess computer skills
- Be flexible with overtime availability
- Accept extended and/or weekend schedules if needed
- Perform all tasks associated with troubleshooting equipment
- Perform all tasks associated with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Accurately maintain records and reports; possess multi‑discipline mechanical, electrical, HVAC skills and ability to learn at an accelerated pace
- Experience with personal computers and common business software packages
- Effective communication, observation, planning, writing, reading, basic math, problem solving, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to operate a variety of power equipment and material handling devices typically found in an industrial maintenance shop
- Understand and utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and sketches to accomplish assigned tasks
- Possess and maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license; must possess forklift operation certificate or have the ability to operate one
- Function in a team‑oriented environment where tasks and workload are shared or rotated with minimum supervision
- Be self‑motivated and able to work without close supervision
- Will be required to be on call for emergencies
