We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Magnet Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and scaling of our magnet manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, materials science, and magnetics, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and sustainability. This role involves designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to produce high-performance magnetic materials and components.
Key Responsibilities- Process Development:
Design and develop manufacturing processes for producing magnetic materials and components, ensuring high quality and efficiency. - Optimization:
Continuously improve manufacturing processes by identifying and implementing enhancements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and ensure product consistency. - Quality Control:
Establish and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards and meet customer specifications. - Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new products into the manufacturing process. - Equipment Management:
Select, install, and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and safely. - Documentation:
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and quality control standards. - Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve manufacturing issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. - Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus. - Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the magnetics or advanced materials industry. - Technical
Skills:- Proficiency in manufacturing process design and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of magnetic materials and their manufacturing techniques.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment selection, installation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
