Key Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Experience in Cath Lab nursing
• Proficient with vascular access management (radial, femoral, IJ lines, device pockets)
• Skilled in pre and post procedural patient assessment and care
• Familiarity with administration of medications related to cath lab procedures
• Ability to interpret and monitor ECGs and vital signs
• Strong patient education and communication abilities

Role Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive pre-procedure assessments for patients undergoing catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Manage vascular access and device implant sites throughout the care continuum
• Administer prescribed medications and assist with cardioversions as needed
• Monitor patient vital signs and ECGs, responding promptly to changes
• Deliver thorough post-procedure discharge education to ensure safe recovery
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals for optimal patient outcomes
