Outpatient Nurse; RN at Windsor Laurelwood Center Behavioral Medicine Euclid, OH

Responsibilities

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) – Part‑time, Day shift

• Primary responsibility for the day‑to‑day medical aspects of Partial Hospitalization Programs and Intensive Outpatient Programs (Adult Mental Health, Adult Dual Diagnosis, Adult Recovery, and Adolescent)
• Signing off on physician’s orders
• Implementing the patient’s treatment plan
• Completing medication reconciliation forms for all applicable PHP/IOP patients at admission and discharge
• Conducting education groups when necessary utilizing a variety of treatment modalities
• Communicating with referral sources, outside community providers, and family members as needed
• Participating in discharge planning and communicating with the provider for the next level of care

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree required;
  Master’s Degree strongly preferred
• A minimum of 2years of experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment preferred
• Current unrestricted licensing in the State of Ohio as a registered nurse (RN)
• Trained in non‑violent physical crisis intervention and CPR prior to independent assignment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Diplomacy and discretion essential
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities
• Professional demeanor and appearance required
