New Grad RN Resident – ICU

About This Role

The New Grad RN Resident in the ICU at Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is designed for recent nursing graduates seeking to develop their skills in a supportive environment. This role involves providing exceptional care to adult patients with major medical, cardiac, and surgical diagnoses.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Euclid, OH
• Facility: Euclid Hospital
• Department/Unit: ICU
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

• New grad or less than one year RN work experience required
• Experience RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be presented upon hire or within the first year of employment
