Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provide skilled Med/Surg Telemetry nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting during night shifts. Deliver high-quality patient monitoring and interventions to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs using telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update care plans.
• Comply with facility policies, including holiday work requirements and travel compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS, active and in hand.
• Recent Epic charting experience (within last 6 months).
• Provide at least one recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation.
