About This Role

As an RN in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Cleveland Clinic’s Euclid Hospital, you will provide direct nursing care to diverse populations of post-surgical patients. • Provide direct nursing care to post-surgical patients.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families using educational materials.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing protocol.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience required.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire preferred.
