• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

• 2 years recent related nursing experience required for external applicants.
• Internal applicants with less than 2 years' experience may be considered with approval.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 24 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of hire.
