As a Cook , you’ll prepare fresh, reliable, patient-centered meals while helping ensure nutritional, dietary, and cultural needs are met. You’ll bring consistency, adaptability, and compassion to a team dedicated to providing exceptional behavioral health care.

• Prepare hot and cold food items according to standardized recipes and patient diet orders.
• Follow food safety procedures, maintain temperature logs, and ensure proper allergen controls.
• Work closely with Dietary Aides to ensure accurate tray assembly and timely meal delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Assist with inventory, food storage, and ordering as needed.
• Flex between units and shifts to help meet staffing and operational needs.
• Quickly learn new routines, menus, and procedures while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Build positive rapport with patients and team members while supporting a respectful, recovery-focused environment.

• 2+ years of cooking experience; healthcare or institutional food-service experience preferred.
• Serv Safe or equivalent food-safety certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to support different shifts and team needs.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
