As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, so you may also move between areas as needed.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify hazards, policy violations, and unusual conditions.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordination with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed by post orders.

+ Control access by monitoring doors and restricted areas, verifying authorization as required, and directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.

+ Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate significant issues to site leadership, and support investigations by preserving observations and maintaining chain of custody for found property when applicable.

+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
