Shipping Clerk​/Cherry Picker Operator

Job Description

A local company is seeking a Shipping Clerk who has experience operating a Cherry Picker to join their team. Work hours are first shift from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pick products from shelves with reach truck or cherry picker, pack orders, and prepare outbound shipments
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments and receive inbound goods
• Process and organize information on daily reports and shipping documents
• Arrange shipments with different LTL and ground carriers throughout the day
• Create BOL's and packing slips
• Maintain bin locations and warehouse cleanliness
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and have experience with warehouse software
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year Shipping/Receiving experience; 2-year Warehouse experience is preferred
• Must be able to safely operate a cherry picker
• Must have Forklift Certification;
  Reach/Counterbalance lift truck experience is preferred
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with experience using warehouse software
• Must have the ability to process and organize daily reports and shipping documents accurately and promptly
• Must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, have steel toed footwear, along with the ability to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds
• Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
