Shipping​/Receiving Clerk

Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm

Established commercial heat treater looking for experienced Shipping/Receiving Clerk to assist at our dock. Job requires customer service, driving a tow motor, loading & unloading trucks, checking in jobs, and packaging of completed jobs. During any downtime, this position will assist with ordering and maintaining supplies and other duties in and out of the Shipping and Receiving department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks, check-in jobs with accuracy, identify containers, weigh/count parts
• Load trucks for daily deliveries

• Package completed work for shipping, delivery or pick-up
• Operation of forklift/tow motor to transport materials in and out of vehicles and around shop

• Interact with customers in a helpful and positive way
• Maintain organized receiving and shipping areas

• Maintain shop and safety supplies, and notify office when supplies are needed

Physical Demands:

• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Safe tow motor operation

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to meet physical demands
• 1-3 years' experience in a shipping/receiving or loading dock environment
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in manufacturing, heat treating, or warehousing preferred

Pay: $18.00 per hour
