Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to precise specifications.

• Operate Press Brake Machines:
  Set up and operate CNC or manual press brakes to bend, punch, or form sheet metal and metal plates according to blueprints and job orders
• Blueprint Interpretation:
  Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine the correct bending angles, tooling, and machine settings
• Quality Control:
  Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, and gauges to inspect finished parts and ensure they meet design specifications
• Machine Setup and Adjustment:
  Select, install, and adjust tooling and dies; program or adjust machine parameters to achieve accurate bends
• Maintenance and Safety:
  Perform routine maintenance, clean machinery, troubleshoot minor issues, and adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment
• Documentation and Reporting:
  Maintain production records, report discrepancies or malfunctions to supervisors, and collaborate with team members to optimize workflow

  Proficiency in operating CNC press brakes, understanding machine controls, and performing basic programming if required
• Mathematical and Measurement
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to perform basic math and geometry calculations for accurate bending and alignment
• Attention to Detail:
  Strong focus on precision and quality to ensure parts meet specifications
• Problem-Solving:
  Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments during production
• Physical Requirements:
  Ability to stand for long periods, handle heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience:
  Entry-level operators may learn on the job, but 1–2 years of experience is often preferred for independent operation
