Monday-Thursday
6am-430pm
NO WEEKENDS!
Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to precise specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Press Brake Machines:
Set up and operate CNC or manual press brakes to bend, punch, or form sheet metal and metal plates according to blueprints and job orders - Blueprint Interpretation:
Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine the correct bending angles, tooling, and machine settings - Quality Control:
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, and gauges to inspect finished parts and ensure they meet design specifications - Machine Setup and Adjustment:
Select, install, and adjust tooling and dies; program or adjust machine parameters to achieve accurate bends - Maintenance and Safety:
Perform routine maintenance, clean machinery, troubleshoot minor issues, and adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment - Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain production records, report discrepancies or malfunctions to supervisors, and collaborate with team members to optimize workflow

Skills:
Proficiency in operating CNC press brakes, understanding machine controls, and performing basic programming if required - Mathematical and Measurement
Skills:
Ability to perform basic math and geometry calculations for accurate bending and alignment - Attention to Detail:
Strong focus on precision and quality to ensure parts meet specifications - Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments during production - Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods, handle heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks - Experience:
Entry-level operators may learn on the job, but 1–2 years of experience is often preferred for independent operation
