Paw Bagger/Scaler
This position is responsible for weighing and labeling product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Scale products to meet required weight specifications and minimize underweight or overweight boxes.
Transfer products across scales and accurately enter information into the computer system.
Weigh, label, and package products while maintaining a safe work environment and following all Tyson policies, procedures, and food safety requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collect paw bags from the paw hopper scale.
Add or remove products as needed to achieve the required weight.
Verify that each bag meets weight specifications before packaging.
Place completed bags into designated boxes located beside the hopper scale.
Ensure accurate weighing and labeling of products.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all company safety, quality, food safety, and production standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Synopsis
The Paw Bagger/Scaler is responsible for catching and weighing paw bags at the hopper scale, adjusting product quantities as needed to meet weight requirements, and placing completed bags into boxes for further processing. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
