Project Accountant

Job Title: Project Accountant (814030)

Location: OR

Compensation: USD 80,000 - USD 95,000 annually

Track, analyze, and report project financial status while ensuring compliance with all contractual financial obligations. Direct fiscal operations, perform month‑end closing activities, and process essential accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable, and customer invoicing. Maintain knowledge of revenue recognition, project invoicing, journal entry preparation, and general accounting rules. Support management and clients by communicating financial insights and reporting on the performance of assigned projects in a clear manner.

Administer supplier contract terms, verify compliance, review payments, and prepare financial performance reviews and maintain project financial data.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, flexible, and comfortable multitasking with tight deadlines.
• Problem‑solving ability, especially in business practices, quality, and internal controls.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and 3+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Experience with cost accounting, government fund accounting, or Oracle.
