Jennie Joiner with Forum Group PNW is partnering with a well-established, multi-state organization to hire a Corporate Accountant based in Eugene, Oregon.

Position OverviewThe Corporate Accountant will support the Director of Accounting and broader finance team in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity organization. This role offers hands‑on involvement in month‑end close, reconciliations, treasury support, and exposure to more advanced accounting areas such as fixed assets, lease accounting, and capital projects.
This position is best suited for someone who enjoys digging into the details, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities for improvement, while also working closely with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support month‑end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Analyze financial data and journal entries to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy
- Assist with fixed asset accounting, including projects related to new builds and remodels
- Participate in daily treasury support, including reporting, cash management, and backup support for wire transfers
- Prepare audit support schedules and assist with GAAP financial reporting requirements
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub‑ledgers
- Collaborate with accounting team members across multiple entities and locations
- Support lease accounting processes and system maintenance as applicable
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation across accounting functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field considered)
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience working within an ERP system (beyond Quick Books)
- Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to ask questions, raise concerns, and contribute ideas
- A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to learn and grow
