Position Overview
The Sales Manager will oversee the daily operations of the sales department, mentor and motivate the sales team, and ensure customers receive a high-quality buying experience. This role requires strong leadership, automotive sales expertise, and a results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
- Manage daily sales operations including inventory, pricing strategy, and customer flow
- Train sales consultants on product knowledge, sales processes, and customer service standards
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results
- Work closely with finance and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Handle customer escalations and maintain high customer satisfaction scores
- Develop promotional strategies and sales initiatives to drive dealership growth
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards
- 3+ years of automotive sales experience, preferably in a leadership or management role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of CRM systems and dealership management software
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
