Job Description

Kiefer Kia is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate repair estimates. If you have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of automotive repair processes, this is your chance to join a fast-growing dealership with a reputation for excellence.

As an Estimator at Kiefer Kia, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicles, determining the extent of the damage, and preparing detailed estimates for repairs. You’ll work closely with customers, insurance companies, and our body shop team to ensure smooth and efficient repair processes. You’ll need to have a solid understanding of repair costs, parts, and labor to provide accurate and fair estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and provide detailed and accurate repair estimates.
  • Work with customers to gather information and understand their needs.
  • Collaborate with the body shop technicians to ensure the accuracy of repair estimates.
  • Submit estimates to insurance companies and follow up on approvals.
  • Track and update estimates and repair orders as necessary.
  • Provide clear explanations to customers regarding repair costs, time frames, and insurance claims.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive repair procedures and industry standards.
  • Ensure that all estimates are within company guidelines and customer expectations.
  • Follow up on completed estimates to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repairs and the parts involved.
  • Experience working with insurance companies and handling claims.
  • Ability to accurately assess vehicle damage and provide comprehensive repair estimates.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
