Gasoline Engine Repair and Performance Technician

Job Description

Gasoline Engine Repair and Performance Technician required at Kendall Ford in Eugene. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying work that needs to be completed on various vehicles. Performing adjustments and calibrations, replenishing fluids, disassembling and reassembling vehicle components, and repairing or replacing parts. Using independent judgment to make decisions, documenting all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies, and road testing all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issue resolution.

Work is performed indoors in a shop environment. Requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, kneeling, and lifting weights of up to 100 pounds. The job involves tools that produce vibration and force, and a full‑time Monday–Friday schedule.

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop
• Able to operate a wide variety of vehicles, both automatic and manual transmissions
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• ASE certifications preferred
