General Description
The Community Partner Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with local organizations to enhance the delivery of workforce development services. The CPM will serve as the primary liaison between Grant Associates and its community partners, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective service delivery. By building and nurturing these critical partnerships, the CPM will play a key role in advancing the organization's mission and supporting the local community.
This role requires a strong commitment to accountability, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, developing/coaching, planning/organizing, resilience, and team building to ensure effective collaboration and community engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability in coordinating the service delivery of required service providers. Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Develop and maintain community engagement with local organizations, including local government, by fostering positive relationships and understanding their unique needs and constraints.
- Analyze data relating to customer satisfaction, quality assurance, and partner agency feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Provide functional supervision of all services, including mandated and voluntary partners, to support their professional development and alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop written policies and procedures in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations. Coordinate service delivery and communication with partners to ensure the availability and appropriate delivery of all WIOA-mandated career services, training, and supportive services.
- Adapt to changing community needs and priorities, continuously seeking to enhance the organization's community engagement strategies and partnership programs.
- Facilitate meetings with partners to promote collaboration, shared resources, and a cohesive service delivery system focused on employment services and employer-based training.
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, management, or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with equivalent experience and relevant skills are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in one of the following areas: human resources/recruiting, job development, or account management
- Full-time management experience, preferably in a metric-driven environment
- Experience working in job development and placement, particularly with similar populations
- Demonstrated success in managing a diverse staff in a respectful and ethical manner
- Energetic self-starter with the ability to be motivated and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities, tasks, or project requirements, and think critically to find solutions efficiently.
- Review resumes and identify current job openings that match candidates’ skills and interests.
- Input data into database and generate reports on job placement and retention results.
- Devise strategic contact methods to maintain client relationships with the program.
