Practice Manager - Eugene

Job Description Summary

In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager plays a vital role in the hospital, managing day-to-day operations so the medical team can devote their time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care.

Employment type:

Full‑Time.

• Interview, hire and develop associates.
• Evaluate the hospital’s processes, progress and productivity.
• Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices.
• Budget and plan for the hospital.
• Handle day‑to‑day operations.
• Schedule associates, coordinate time off and manage continuing education needs.
• Train associates to educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs and hospital services.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years of related experience, including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development).
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving ability and conflict‑management experience.
• Leadership and analytical know‑how.
• Understanding of the Five Principles:
  Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency, Freedom.

• Salary range: $63,822.10 – $85,187.47 (dependent on experience, skill level, education and geographic location).
