Construction Estimator
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Construction Estimators for projects located in the Eugene, OR area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $27-35/hour based on experience and skill level. JobScope:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for excavation and concrete projects
- Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, equipment, and material costs
- Prepare and submit bids within required deadlines
- Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate project conditions
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
- Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures
- Assist with project handoff following successful bid awards
- Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience required
- Strong construction background required; excavation and concrete experience highly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with Bluebeam estimating and takeoff software
- Familiarity with bidding both public and private construction projects
- Experience with excavation, site development, grading, underground utilities, or concrete construction
