Position: Service Advisor

Pay: Commission pay structure. Monthly range from $7,500 to $10,000, depending on sales performance and customer satisfaction. Includes base, commission, and CSI (customer service index) bonus.

Schedule: May include some Saturdays.

Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Eugene is expanding and hiring immediately to meet our customers’ needs. We are searching for an ambitious Service Advisor with drive and determination to succeed and to provide the best in class experience for our loyal clientele.

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor/Writer in a dealership (required).
• Positive and ambitious attitude.
• Customer focused – always does the right thing.
• Available for a rotation schedule that includes some Saturdays.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; and maintaining customer records.

• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into the service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep the customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
• Previous Service Advisor experience is preferred.
• This is a driving position that requires an acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
