The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments as needed. They may also set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled. Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments with proper documentation of clientele needs.
Greet customers promptly
Obtain customer and vehicle information
Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
Verify all warranty and service plan coverage and report correctly.
Establish follow up time and proactively communicate with clientele as they require.
Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
Explain all completed work and charges to customer.
Proactive follow up with clientele regarding customer service experience and follow up with any clientele needs
Maintain proper customer service index score each month.
Qualifications:
Previous vehicle manufacturing dealership experience required and CDK experience preferred.
Driver's License is required with an acceptable, insurable driving record.
