Customer Care Consultant

In-Office | Eugene, OR | Full-Time (35–40 hrs/week)

Do you love bringing order to complexity, supporting high performers, and making sure every detail is handled exactly right?

Travel Perks is looking for Customer Care Consultants to partner closely with one of our Personal Travel Planners (travel agents) and play a critical role in delivering exceptional, seamless vacation experiences for our clients.

This is not a sales role.
This is a role for someone who thrives behind the scenes—anticipating needs, solving problems, and keeping everything running smoothly while working with both clients and colleagues.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Customer Care Consultant, you'll be the operational backbone of a travel planning team. You'll:

  • Support a Personal Travel Planner by managing the details that turn great trips into flawless experiences
  • Research, arrange, update, and service travel reservations (cruises, air, hotels, resorts, excursions, insurance)
  • Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to keep trips on track
  • Handle payments and sensitive client information with care and accuracy
  • Juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment—without losing attention to detail
  • Use modern tools and systems (including AI-assisted workflows) to work smarter, not harder

You’ll have ownership of your work, autonomy to solve problems, and the satisfaction of knowing your precision directly impacts client happiness.

Who Thrives in This Role

You’ll likely be a great fit if you:

  • Love details, organization, and systems
  • Take pride in being dependable, proactive, and coachable
  • Enjoy supporting others and being part of a high-performing team
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and coworkers
  • Are comfortable learning complex processes and improving them over time
  • Stay calm, focused, and solution-oriented when things get busy

Travel experience is helpful—but strong organizational ability, intelligence, and motivation matter more
.
