Sage Dental Wellness is a new biologic dental practice in Eugene, Oregon that is growing quickly. We are looking for a friendly, team‑oriented front receptionist who can also help the back clinical team when needed. The ideal candidate is passionate about oral health and the whole‑body approach to dentistry, believes in healthy living, is kind, reliable, has an excellent work ethic and strong communication skills.

Our ideal candidate can assist with patient check‑in and check‑out, help in the clinical setting, and ensure smooth and efficient patient experiences. This role requires working closely with our professional team to represent our practice vision and philosophy effectively.

Team Player Skills

Ability to recognize and take initiative to complete tasks that may overwhelm a team member, maintain balance of job duties, assist with side‑assist, cleaning, sterilizing, and turning rooms over. Help the team be accountable to job duties and follow office policies. Adapt to changes, be open to new protocols, and act as a change maker when appropriate.

Organizational Skills

Help with HIPAA, OSHA, CPR, and other regulatory standards. Multi‑task without losing focus, work in a timely manner, and reduce wait times for patients and team members.

Communication Skills

Work closely with the doctor professionally to maintain clear communication daily and as needed. Keep accurate records of tasks and follow up. Resolve patient and team member concerns, build trust, and demonstrate thoughtfulness for the practice.

Financial Skills

Schedule for productivity and efficiency, understand patient insurance, billing, and payment plans. Ensure deposit collection, run end‑of‑day reports, correct errors, and monitor performance metrics.

Knowledge of Computers and Dental Software

Strong technology background required. Proficiency in computer skills, written communication, and using the dental office management software. Create forms, documents, presentations and spreadsheets, attend software trainings, and support others with questions to maximize software effectiveness.
