Our Dental Clinic is seeking to hire a part-time dentist. This is a non-faculty assignment. Staff may work up to 40 hours a week indefinitely. The goal of the Lane Dental Clinic is to provide the public with patient-centered, comprehensive, preventive, and therapeutic dental care, while at the same time providing effective, practical, educational experiences for dental assisting students. Clinic staff provide teeth cleaning and restorative services with affordable prices to community members, students and those in need with dental expertise, compassion and kindness.
The selected candidate will:
- Have a passion for serving others in their work and willingly mentor and develop Lane students to gain employment.
- Contribute to a positive atmosphere of individual caring, dedication and service in a fast-paced clinic.
- Work with experienced dentists who have committed to serving the community and training Lane students.

Required
Education:
The education required to be an Oregon Board-Certified Dentist.
Required Experience:
The experience required to be an Oregon Board-Certified Dentist.
Licensure or Certification Requirements
- Oregon Board-Certified Dentist Drug Enforcement Agency License for scheduled medications (DEA) Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Conditions of Employment:
Successful applicants are required to complete a criminal background check. Dentists must carry their own malpractice liability insurance. Complete an Educational Methodologies course within 30 days of hire. Must work and reside in the state of Oregon at the time their work is being performed.
