Part-time Dental Hygienist needed in Eugene earning $55–65/hr

We are currently seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team on a full-time basis, with flexibility to accommodate two part-time schedules or fill-in coverage. This role is ideal for a dedicated provider committed to delivering gentle, comprehensive patient care.

You will perform professional dental cleanings, complete periodontal exams, educate patients on oral hygiene practices, and maintain precise digital clinical records using Dentrix software.

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and aseptic technique.
• Skilled in taking digital radiographs and understanding medical records management.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical coding, and documentation review processes.
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient education and assessment.
• Knowledge of EMR systems (Electronic Medical Records including digital X-rays) and general dentistry procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail.

The preferred schedule runs Monday through Thursday. Candidates must hold an active dental hygiene license and bring hands-on Dentrix experience.

• Assist with chairside procedures such as medical imaging, cavity detection, and anesthetic agents.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records using Dentrix.
• Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality general dentistry services.
• Ensure accurate medical coding and documentation for billing accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
