Senior Health & Wellness Physician - Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Barger Clinic - Eugene, Oregon

Peace Health is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician with an interest in geriatric medicine to join our Senior Health & Wellness Center (SHWC) team at Barger Clinic
. This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive care for older adults and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving quality of life for seniors.

Barger Clinic is an NHSC-approved site.

About the Senior Health & Wellness Center

The SHWC is an outpatient geriatrics clinic providing primary and consultative care for adults aged 65 and older. Physicians serve as primary care providers and consultants to meet the needs of an expanding older adult population.

Our multidisciplinary team offers:

  • Care management
  • Counseling
  • Diabetes education
  • Foot care
  • Geriatric specialty consultations
  • Memory and cognitive evaluations
  • Medication education and chronic disease management

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. or foreign equivalent degree
  • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited U.S. Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon (or ability to obtain)
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS or PALS required within 30 days of hire
