We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist for a locum tenens position near Eugene, OR. This opportunity offers the flexibility of both full-time and part-time positions in a renowned cancer care facility. You will be working in an outpatient setting with a strong focus on providing top-quality care to oncology and hematology patients.   Day shifts with call requirements
• Shift Schedule:
  • 8-hour days
  • Call schedule: 1:4, including one weekend per month (primarily handling critical lab calls)
• Workload: 10-15 patients per day in a free-standing cancer center

• Facility Type:
  Outpatient Cancer Center (no inpatient consults)
• Infusion Room: 19-chair infusion room with onsite mixing pharmacy
• Support Staff:
  Nurse navigation, collegial nurse infusion team, radiation oncology onsite
• Specialty Services Available:

  • Surgical care (including bariatrics and robotics)

  • Inpatient psychiatry

• Provide outpatient oncology and hematology care
• Collaborate with the infusion team to ensure high-quality treatment
• Participate in critical lab calls on a 1:4 rotation
• Participate in clinical trials and collaborate with other specialists in the center
• Embrace a community-focused healthcare model, working with vulnerable populations

• Board Certification:
  Medical Oncology and/or Hematology (Board Eligible within 2 years of fellowship)
• State License:
  Active Oregon medical license or willingness to obtain
• Certifications: BLS required
• Experience:
  Radiation oncology experience preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply
